April 2025 - Beamish Living Museum

The first whole band engagement of 2025 was a visit to Beamish Living Museum, where the band played on the bandstand.  A variety of appropriate music was played to the enjoyment of the crowds, some even joining in with dancing!  The event marked the first public solo by Ann Smith on Tenor Horn, who gave a beautiful and confident rendition of 'Somewhere over the Rainbow'.
