Friday 11th October 2024 - Autumn concert

The 2024 Autumn Concert, 'Movies and Musicals', was a thoroughly enjoyable and successful event, performed in the Golden Lion Hotel in Northallerton. The band had greatly enjoyed preparing a varied selection of pieces from the stage and screen, which were well received by a very engaged and appreciative audience. The soloists excelled themselves as did the band as a whole, under the baton of our enthusiastic MD, Stuart Shields. The evening marked the final engagement with NSB of our Band Master, Jonathan Owens, who has been playing with the band for 12 years. Jonathan was presented with a gift from the band as a token of our appreciation for his time and commitment to the band.
